FishCart^TM v.U is a proprietary software extension to the FishCart version 3 open source software. v.U integrates the UPS Online® XML Tools into your FishCart e-commerce site. This gives you the opportunity to extend the following UPS Online® Shipping services to your customers.

With the integration of the Rates & Services tool, the cost of shipping by any of the available UPS methods can be determined when the order is placed. Provision is also available for you to add appropriate shipping and handling charges as needed.

The Time-in-Transit tool gives your customers delivery times via various UPS shipment methods. This can help them determine the best way to receive their order in the time frame that they desire.

The Tracking tool permits customers to track their package once shipped; this requires that they be notified of the actual UPS assigned tracking code for their shipment. With this tool, customers can track their package by returning to your Web site. You benefit by customers returning to your Web site, reinforcing your online presence.

The Address Validation tool can help validate that the city, state and postal code are consistent. If errors are found, the available options are displayed to the purchaser; the customer has the option of overriding these options and continuing with the address information originally entered. You, the merchant, can have the benefit of validated addresses to help increase the accuracy of your orders.

v.U includes an attractivly packaged CD, as well as one hour of telephone support for installation. Optionally, you can have FishNet install v.U on your existing FishCart v.3 site, or install both FishCart v.3 and v.U extensions together.
